Heritage Fort Museum is the first and only Chinese Peranakan Peranakan Museum in Indonesia. This museum is the result of restoration of a traditional Chinese architectural building. Heritage Fort Museum is one of the oldest buildings in Tangerang City which became the forerunner of the center of Tangerang City which was once called Benteng Town. In addition, the museum is a proof of the development of Chinese civilization in Tangerang.
This old building was once occupied by the surrounding community. The condition of the building before the museum is very poor and very unkempt. In this museum there is a gallery that contains a variety of old cameras that can still produce high quality images and a variety of collection of songwriters ranging from the most ancient, such as Edison phonograph made in the 1890s until the time of Retro.
Phonograph is the first machine that can play and store sound. In the oldest model paired vocal cords in a thin layer of metal film. The next version uses vocal cords from wax and celluloid. Sound waves are emitted through the membrane to a fast-vibrating metal bolt (needle). The bolt scrapes the tape in the rotating cylinder.
With the formation of sound, bolt record (metal) increasingly dulled.
The basic principle of sound formation is the same as the later gramophone recordings. Metal bolts are tightly bound to the membrane following it while the sound waves form a scratch on the cylinder in which the membrane vibrates rapidly with it. Then the sound can be hardened with the help of the funnel.
Automatic recording devices can be played by hand, individual, or electric.
The phonograph was invented by Thomas Alva Edison in 1877 and sold commercially between 1890-1925.
Phonographs made of equipment that record with a swing have been made by Léon Scott of France in 1857.
